After passing the competitive examination, he joined the law department of the indian civil service and served as acourt judge.
HIGHER EduCATION:
After working as an additional and distrrict judge, he was posted to the lahore bench of the high court in 1946. His good deeds earned him the position of minister of law secretary and court federal K.T. Attar assum the responsibilities on 1960 to 1968 he held the position of cheif justice court of pakistan, for which the government of pakistan awarded him the hilal_e_pakistan in 1967 . From 1969 to 1971, he held the position of federal minister . Cornelis is remembered to this day for his impartiality of decisions -his important role in the constitutional evolution of pakistan and his access to the philosophy of law. His mastery of islamic laws is an example for all judges.Cornelis died in lahore on 201 december 1991 . He was buried
